The general membership of the Deep East Texas Regional Advisory Council Trauma Service Area - H is made up of individuals and organizations that provide trauma care, or are interested in the provision of trauma care. 

 

 

 

They may include individuals representing trauma facility hospitals, EMS providers, health care educational institutions, public safety agencies, physicians, nurses, and other organizations interested in trauma care.  The General Assembly is made up of participant members present at the meetings.  Voting members are those individuals designated by their organizations to vote for them.   

Grab It and Go


"Plan to Recover" is a short video provided by the Texas Department of State Health Services concerning disaster preparedness. On September 13, 2008, Hurricane Ike made landfall in Southeast Texas. Seventy-four people were killed in the disaster and its aftermath. The Bolivar Peninsula suffered catastrophic damage, with more than 50 percent of houses destroyed. Meet the Heinrich family, who lost their home but saved their lives by following their emergency plan.
